This book is born from the fusion of poetry and the enchantment of fresh colours of mosaic collections by APPIANI that become wonderful containers of magic reflection of
Tales of Water.
Stories are like running water.
Water that precedes other water, and water follows it.
So stories too are preceded by other stories.
that will, in their turn, be followed by new ones.
Where there is water there is life and where life is stories are created to narrate it.
In this book you will find stories made of water and colour:
water-colours whose titles are already stories.
In this book you will find stories made of mosaics,
stories made of tiny mosaic cells glazed with pure colour.
These mosaic cells collect water to protect and to preserve it,
They reflect themselves in the water, multiplying their images and their story in this way.

Davide Pizzigoni
Born in Milan, Davide Pizzigoni represents the perfect mix of architecture, design and fine arts.
He has been collaborating for years with some of the most prestigious brands in the world. He designed sets and costumes for lyrical operas in Zurich, Wien and Tokyo.
His works have been exposed worldwide.
From 1873, the year when it was founded, Appiani have managed to preserve the charm of the materials of antic traditions like mosaic, proposing colouring, size and finishing essential for polichromatic surfaces and images, that reflect light like in water games.
Appiani are honoured that Davide Pizzigoni has chosen the Create Appiani Mosaico collection in its 120 colours and various material finishings for his magic world.
